Santiago de Chile will host one of the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers, also known as the Pre-World Cup, the decisive stage that determines the last teams to qualify for the next World Cup to be held in Belgium and the Netherlands in August 2026.

Description:
Between March 1 and 8, 2026, the Chilean capital will bring together top-level teams in a high-performance tournament full of excitement and international competition where every game counts. In this qualifying tournament, eight women's teams and eight men's teams will compete for one of three direct spots at the planet's premier event. Teams finishing first, second and third will qualify directly (the fourth may qualify if it has a better ranking than the fourth-placed team in the parallel pre-World Cup). Men: France, Ireland, South Korea, Wales, Scotland, Canada, Poland and Chile.
